Public access area near the border between Texas and New Mexico. Readily accessible.
A hockey-puck-sized orange colored container - but don't think that makes it stand out. The cache is hidden, but please - you don't need to dig or move anything to find it. Watch for muggles, especially during evening hours! And as with all desert locales, watch out for things that bite and sting. Original contents:
