Geocache Description:

PLEASE DO NOT park on the side of the road!!! This is not a grab and go from your car. This is one of eight Special K hides on the Loveland bike path. Congratulations to estrek for being FTF!! This cache has been placed to celebrate the opening of another mile of the Loveland bike path!! Yeah!! We've been anxiously waiting for this to happen all summer! Finally......another mile!! Yippee! Okay, we're excited. BYOP

We can't believe they didn't provide a little area for people to park here and access the trail. So, for those of you in your vehicle, you will have to access the bike path from another trail entrance. Options are parking by the tire store on Hwy 287 and 57th (where the bike path crosses under the highway). Or from the other, and more scenic route, park in Seven Lakes Park and take the path from there. This would make your terrain rating more like a 2 1/2 but only due to the walking distance. But, it'll all be worth it because it's a beautiful walk along the path!! We've seen a few bald eagles in the trees along the lake. And, there are MANY other caches to find along the path while you're on your journey from either starting point! Hope you enjoy and please mind the parking signs.
