Geocache Description:

How could I have missed the obvious? "Bridge Crossing Ahead" really fits this hide, so we'll give it a fresh name for the next finders.

Oringinally called Wiouwash Wayside, this is kind of a trail wayside park n' grab, especially if you're biking and have hip boots in your pack. It reminds me of a similar little island that we scampered out to when trains came as we walked down the tracks to get to Shingle Creek and my dad's favorite duck hunting spot. This one has a more natural bridge. I can envision hunters walking the tracks that were once here as they made their way to favorite spots like these in bygone days.

Terrain is averaged between winter and summer so the hide is not particularly winter-friendly. Yeah, Dave told me how to tuck one in here. Only a few choice gaps left on this part of the trail now.

The Geocache Placement Notification form has been approved by the Wisconsin DNR Oshkosh Service Center.

Congrats to bobncat3604 for their FTF on this St. Patrick's Day 2012.
