A nice rolling walk or pedal to a Boggy island in the middle of Big Beaver Pond. The island may be accessed from a bridge. The walk from parking to the pond has a few short steepis climbs. If the shortest route is followed, the walk is .66 miles round trip. It could be a much longer walk depending on which way The Force leads you.
The container is an ammo tin.
A distant, mist-shrouded swamp planet, Dagobah does not appear in any
modern starcharts. It is a forgotten world, and it was the home of the
last remaining Jedi Master and Council member from the waning days of
the Republic.
The planet is covered in gnarled trees and fetid swamps. Huge lagoons
are home to fearsome snakes and other creatures that swim in the murky
waters. Leathery-winged avians take to the fog-filled skies. Though the
planet has no signs of technology, its life form readings register as
massive.
Following the scourge of the Jedi by the emergent Empire, the Jedi
Master Yoda fled to Dagobah and went into hiding. A world plagued with
overgrown jungles, creatures, and constant rain, it was a perfect place
to hide. Few would ever come to such a planet willingly.
If you look carefully out into the pond you can see where Luke
Skywalker was forced to ditch land his X-wing starfighter. Luke
travelled to Dagobah without the aid of navigational data. He was
guided by the force. You too must use the force to discover the
cache hidden here amongst the misty swamp.
The cache container is an ammo can. Please keep it
covered with bark. There are
hopefully some Star Wars trinkets in the cache. If you decide to
take a Star Wars item, please replace it with a SW item. Thanks!

PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB the native plants and wildlife while searching for this cache. The cache has been recently moved from a more sensitive area in order to minimize the traffic on native plants.
The City of Anacortes has been kind enough not to remove the cache from this amazing and delicate place. Please return the favor by being absolutely respectful of the resources on which you are standing. Pack out any litter found in the area. Go to Anacortes Community Forest Lands for more information on the City of Anacortes parks system.
