Geocache Description:

This is the Norbury Lake area that is just off the Wardner/Fort Steele highway.

There is a nice camping area that you have to drive through in order to find the “trail” sign. I found this wee site (or sight) on my traverse through the bush and thought I would share it. At the time I placed this cache the gate was open but even if it is closed, it is not a far trek to find the cache.

Due to the fact that not only have I not been hiding any caches recently but also I haven’t even been out looking for any so I just had to get out and hide some since there doesn’t seem to be much for winter weather/snow.

I did see some bear scat which I believe to be fresh so please be cautious and bring along your noisemaker whatever it might be.

You are looking for a lock n’ lock container and the starting contents are:

Orange ice cube
Pattycat cloth
Regular Geobutton
Pattycat Geobutton
F.T.F. Geobutton
2005 Event Cache Geobutton
Geomagnet for your fridge
Bumblebuttons card
Log book, pencils, and a sharpener to start a cache.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoyed the scenery of Garbutt’s Lake and the surrounding mountains.

Pattycat
