This cache is a coffee can sized lock and lock hidden along the
trails of the South Shore Nature Center. The entrance is located on
Bayview Ave in East Islip here: N40 43.167 W73 11.470
The nature center is owned and operated by the town of Islip and
is open to the public from 9:00am to 5:00pm all year long.
Wear your boots, take your time
and look around as there is a lot of life packed into this little
preserve. Just be aware that the boardwalks can be slippery even if
they're only a little damp. I hope you enjoy the hunt.
