Located up a trail popular with equestrians and mountainbikers in
LakeView Terrace. The first part of the hike is paved, the later
part has some elevation change.
The cache is a cammo'd pill bottle bottle. Inside is a log and a
pencil. There is room for realy small trade items. Park on Jimenez
St. off of Esko and head North on Dominica, there is no parking on
Dominica St. The trail is to the left, towards the top, past the
stables. The "private drive" sign refer to the driveway that veers
to the left. Just head for the yellow gate and you're on your way,
the trail to the right doesnt go anywhere either.
This trail is traveled not only by hiking mugglers but mugglers on
horseback and mountain bike so they can approach rather quickly.
There is a rather healthy rattlesnake population in these hills, be
aware of your surroundings !!

March 18, 2009 by ECVTim (39 found) Hiked up there last night and replaced the container which was getting brittle. The new container is just a little larger than the original but now has a pencil in there. There is a lot of over growth but if your in the right spot its still fairly easy to find.

March 8, 2009 by Journeymnn (1745 found) First cache on a nine mile loop. The covering is falling off, so I used some vegetation to tie it back on. Thanks!
