The second in a series of caches I will be placing that reference what I consider Essential Albums of My Life.
Parklife, the 3rd album from Blur, and the one that hooked me. Only a year after releasing Modern Life Is Rubbish, Blur was on a roll. Frontman Damon Albarn calls it a concept album, I see it as more of a statement album, Blur is THE british band [they were battling it out with Oasis at the time].
