Join us on Sunday May 3, 2015 from Noon to 2pm at the Sterling Nature Center. The terrain is relatively level, a cobblestone beach or dirt road. Meet inside the interpretive building at the posted coordinates.
Help clean up our playing field at the Sterling Nature Center. We will clean a portion of the nature center's 2-miles of Lake Ontario shoreline by removing a variety of debris that has washed up throughout the winter as well as debris carelessly left behind by muggles.
Trash bags will be provided and some work gloves will be available, but if you have a pair of work gloves please bring them along. Dress for the weather and keep in mind that the lakeshore can be a bit breezy and cooler than inland.
There are over a hundred caches within 10 miles of listed coordinates including several within the nature center. There will be some light refreshments for those helping out today and possibly a travel bug or geocoin. Please post a note letting me know how many will attend.
Hope to see you there,
Mystery Nut
