krazyarde: After 2 DNF's being logged I went back home to check on this one and found the area had recently been somewhat cleaned up and cache was missing. In light of this I have decided to archive this listing since I only get back here 3 or 4 times a year and can't check it regularly. Happy Caching To All.

Geocache Description:


This geocache is placed on ground that I grew up on almost 50 years ago. I remember coming to this spot often to bring my father a small sack lunch or something cold to drink while he was working in the fields here. Sometimes I would ride with him on the tractor for a couple rounds which I always thought was fun. As I got older I was allowed to drive the tractor by myself while dad sat here eating the sandwich I had brought him and watched me. I really enjoyed that. And as I got older yet I was told to go out and do the work alone which I didn't really enjoy after awhile. Thus the reason that I am now a truck driver 100 miles away. My father eventually didn't enjoy it anymore either by himself so he sold the farm and moved away also. The farm buildings are also gone now and this is all that remains as a reminder of my childhood here. I don't know who the tractor driver is that is enjoying farming this now but I hope he doesn't mind me adding one to the pile and putting a cache here. I brought the "container" from my present home to mix with my past one. I always enjoy coming here when in the area to sit down and reminisce while my father and mother both now reminisce and watch me from above.  I hope you enjoy the hunt.
The cache is only big enough for the log so BYOP and please replace it as found.
