Geocache Description:

Incredable views in all directions from this cache location. Picnic tables and a fire lookout too!

This cache is located on top of Sun Top mountain. While there take time to enjoy the fantastic views and have a picnic lunch. During the summer many days the fire lookout is open and there will be someone there to give you a quick tour and answer any questions you might have.

A few miles south of the town of Greenwater on hiway 410, there is a rest stop area, just south of that is Forest Service Road # 73. Take F.S. # 73 1.25 miles to F.S. 7315.

Take F.S. 7315 5.5 miles to the top of Sun Top. The last half mile to the top is a narrow road with steep drop offs so drive slow and be careful All the Forest Service roads are gravel, but you do not need a 4X4 or high cleance vehicle to get to this cache, just about any car can make it to the top.
