Geocache Description:

Altos can painted and hiden in Old Town Lewisville. Coord averaged for 10 minutes.

Just for those days when you don't want to get muddy but still want to go caching....This cache is the one of the Downtown / Main Street USA series!

This cache is located on Main Street in Old Town of Lewisville. Lewisville was settled in 1844 just 8 years after Texas got it's independence. The town was named after Basdeal W. Lewis who bought most of the town in 1855. There is a movement in Lewisville to restore the old town which is the orginal building from the turn of the last century, so it seemed to be a fitting place for a cache in this series.

There is no need reason to go ripping up the greenery here!

Our hope is that new Downtown / Main Street USA caches will start popping up all over the USA. You too can place one:

1. Find a Downtown and/or Main Street and place your cache.

2. Name the Cache: “Downtown / Main Street USA: (town name, state)”
