Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in honor of my father who was an Arthur.  My mother always had told me, an only child, that she wanted the hymn "In The Garden" played at her funeral.    When she died in 1985, I fulfilled her wish.  My Dad, Arthur, died in 1991.  He had left no special funeral requests.  Therfore when I was planning his funeral, I thought I would use "In The Garden" again.  When my teenage daughters joined me just before the funeral began, they were shocked and dismayed that I hadn't chosen Grandpa's hymn, "How Great Thou Art".  I never knew they considered it "Grandpa's" hymn.  Needless to say, I quickly found the funeral director and made the change.

Incidentally, I made the hide on my mother's 106th birthday.  She would have loved geocaching.

Park Arthur is named after another Arthur, Arthur Henry Thiesenhusen.  He farmed on this land from 1911 to his retirement in 1966.  The City of Muskego acquired the land in 1996.  It officially became the largest park in May 2013.  Park Arthur is a four-season destination.  The park's hours are 5AM to 10PM and are enforced by the police department.  Permission for this hide was given by Craig Anderson, Director of Parks and Recreation.
