Laugavegur Traditional Cache
Islandia: With much regret I have to archieve this cache as the Micro disappeared. I plan to start a new cache as it seems to be attractive for people on this famous hike.

This micro-cache is placed besides a hiking-trail at around 1000m altitude.
Although finding the cache should not be that difficult, getting there probably is. The cache is located at the most famous hiking-trail in Iceland called Laugavegur. My girlfriend and me hiked this tour mid June 2006 and we needed to cross many breathtaking snowfields. Both coming from Alftavatn or Hrafntinnusker will include steep uphill hiking before you reach the coordinates. However - if weather permits - you will have a stunning view onto the colorful mountains of that region. It's also a great place for a break after the hard hike.

As the TB did not have enough space in the micro I sealed it with tape. Once the TB has been retrieved, please remove the tape and close the micro as you would normally do with its lid.
