Levittown Legacy #10: Garfield Park Sample Homes

This series of caches is dedicated to the history of Willingboro, and especially, the legacy of the Levittown years.

In 1965, sample homes, a sales center and an Exhibit Center were moved here from the Willingboro Plaza site.  These samples were for Garfield Park homes.  When it first opened, there were so many potential customers that police officers had to direct traffic and parking.  I remember visiting here with my parents around that time.  It's hard to believe that this sleepy little corner of Willingboro saw so much action!  There is some room for very small trinkets and please hide as found.

Congratulations to tsemclarney, Forbez and Buchhalter for sharing FTF! You guys need to get a life!
