Geocache Description:

Small rubbermaid box on the Sunset Trail in Big Basin. When we were out here there was a beautiful waterfall very near this cache. Cache is under a log near a small creek. As usual, locking a satellite can be a challenge here - suggest taking the hint.




Today we were out collecting some 50sumtin caches so we could log the memorial challenge (GC1GPN9) in Wilder Ranch State Park. While we were here we grabbed Pic-i-nic Basket (GC11NB0) and loved the area and decided to put a few out and continue the theme. We made a loop out of it starting at the Park HQ taking Dool to Sunset, Sunset to Skyline To Sea (via the cut over), up Timms Creek trail to Sunset and back to HQ. This is the best way to do the loop, IMHO, because it flattens out the grade on the way back up.
