This container is large enough to hold a modern cell phone but not much more. FTF will get a moose! Doris Leeper Preserve is ever improving. This Canoe launch is fairly new at the time of this cache placement. There are 2 main parking areas in this park. The East entrance is the closest to this cache. Just follow the green boat launch signs. You can park by the horse shelter or you can drive all the way to the launch. The dirt road is a one way loop that leads back to the horse shelter. There is usually a portable potty for public use near the horse shelter. This side of the park is also a disc golf course and it is pretty large. There are several other geocaches here as well, so make a day of it. Mountain biking, running, horse riding, dog walking, and kayaking/canoeing are all here. The running water from the hose is good for washing your legs off, but smells strongly of sulfur. Official park hours now are sunrise to sunset. Have fun and watch for flying discs!
