Židovská synagóga bola sprístupnená v roku 1994 a stojí na mieste staršej synagógy, ktorá roku 1878 vyhorela. Je majetkom Ústredia židovských náboženských obcí, spravuje ju Múzeum Janka Krála. Priestory sa využívajú na krátkodobé výstavy a príležitostné koncerty.
The synagogue belongs to property of the Centre of Jewish Communities and it is administrated by the Janko Král Museum. Temporary exhibitions and occasional concerts take place in the synagogue nowadays
