May 2nd and 3rd signal the beginning of geocaching, some 15 years ago. On May 2, 2000, GPS signals were descrambled, increasing the accuracy of GPS devices worldwide by ten times. The following day, what would become known as the first geocache was hidden.
Come join us for lunch Saturday, May 2, 2015, from 11:15 am to 1 pm. Please let us know by Thursday, April 30, if you plan to attend so we can tell the restaurant how many people will be there. We will be in the back room. You don't have to eat to attend, but please don't bring food in.
