Geodash 2015. Think you're the fastest cacher in the west? Well come prove it to your fellow cachers. This is a timed multicache event with a slight puzzle aspect to it (and to those who came last year it has been toned down, don't be scared).
Geodash 2015. August 22nd from 3:00 p.m. to ~5:00 p.m. This a multistage race where the racers will find 7 locations around town and using the information they provide will solve a simple puzzle (very similar to bingo) to find the finish line. The winners will receive a trophy and more importantly bragging rights. We will have a time of hanging out with some light pre-race refreshments from 3:00 to ~3:30 p.m. with the race starting at 3:30 for those that are interested in participating. There will also be a celebration at the finish line (coordinates will be posted in the comments when the first team is victorious). Things to bring: A smartphone with a QR code reader (this is how the clues will presented) Your favorite GPS device/app (we are looking for geocaches afterall) A vehicle or bike to get around town (the entire route is approximately 10 miles) Your friends! Because everything is better with friends And of course if you're doing the Geocaching Road Trip'15 this will help you earn one of your badges, which is never a bad thing.
