Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the Alford Greenway. A parking area is located at the end of Pedrick Rd.

In order to easily get to the site you should park in the car parking area by the portable potty. Walk through the fence opening by the potty and take the trail to the left towards the woods. When you approach the woods, follow the trail that bears to the left. At that point, it should be easy to find using your GPSr following the proper trails to the site. The trails are well-marked and mowed. You are looking for a large ammo can. It is located off the path which requires walking through light brush. Watch out for the usual hazards in this area: greenbriar (stickers), poison ivy, mosquitoes, spiders, ticks, ants, etc. This is our first hide. We hope you have fun finding it. We sure had a great time making it! There are some special First-to-Find gifts. One is for the First ADULT to Find and another is for the First CHILD to Find. There is also a cache camera for you to take your photo with. The kids made some special Lego creations as gifts too. And check out the cool camo on the ammo box.
