Horse camp at Government Meadows at the end of the 70 road. The road is dirt. Elk in area.
This is Series 1 of CowboyMaps.com cache. Several extra items in the camo painted sealed loc-tight plastic container.Take the trail out of the horse camp. Not a long walk.Accessible to anyone. Great to ride or walk. There is a log cabin farther down on the trail in the meadow (with another cache available there) and the meadow creek has fish. This area holds the 'wagon train' history of the 1800's. Some 'old' signs around meadow depict the history but are nearly rotted away and some buried in the trees that have grown up around them. Scenic jeep trail in area also. Awesome wooden bridges.
