Geocache Description:

Brandon Iowa (pop. 311): icon of hospitality, and symbol of open fire cooking: The biggest frying pan in Iowa is kept here.

On display in the outdoors is this impressive 14 foot 3 inch 1,020 lb piece of cookware. Standing upright, it makes an excellent back drop to the family vacation picture. The pan has been used in the open fire cookout more aptly known as "The Cowboy Breakfast". This all you can eat feast occurs each year, one Sunday in May and again in September (usually the 2nd to last Sunday between 8 AM and 1 PM.)
