Another month -
Another gathering! As long as the weather holds - there
will always be sliding available for any who want to brave the
elements.
Across the
street from the church is the awesome sliding hill at Union High
School! So this month - after our meal -- those adventurous
souls can head out for some sliding fun! Be sure to
bring your snuggies and sleds. Others that can't or don't
want to brave the elements will be able to stay at church and
visit, trade stories, etc.
We will have hot chocolate for
everyone after the sledding.
We will keep the same division for "what to
bring"... but if you have a specialty you want to share, please
feel free to "break the rules". We have been averging about
50 people each month - so keep that in mind when you are making
your dish to share.
We will have plenty of outlets for crock pots or
other electrical appliances as needed. As most know by now -
we meet in the church gym, so there are plenty of tables
to eat at and half the gym is available for the kids to run and
play!
We have a basket out each month for
donations to help with the cost of all the paper products, punch
and coffee that we use each month.
