Celebrate Leap Day By "Hopping" into Berea, KY!

Leap Day only occurs once every four years, so what better way to celebrate the 2016 Leap Day than at the site of the very first annual Berea Chamber of Commerce Geocaching Weekend. Join us for a fun meet and greet, games, and door prizes, and become part of our family of loyal geocachers in beautiful Berea, KY on this very special Leap Day of 2016.

Don't miss this opportunity to attend an event in beautiful Berea, KY and earn your Geocaching.com Leap Day Souvenir. The Berea Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 2016 Berea Geocaching Leap Day Event and welcomes Geocachers back to Berea, KY for a FREE family-friendly event, offering food, games, fun, and door prizes. We're home to the Annual Berea Chamber of Commerce Geocaching Weekend and we know how to welcome and thank geocachers for visiting our amazing small town! This annual event began back in 2014 and has become an annual tradition that occurs on the 3rd weekend in October every year and draws geocachers from all across the United States. (Mark your calendars now for October 14th-16th, 2016 and be on the lookout for this event on Geocaching.com as the date gets closer.)

Berea, KY has something to offer to everyone! We have permanent geocaches hidden in amazing locations. You can indulge is geocaching while observing our talented working artisans, hiking the rugged gorgeous trails of the "Pinnacles" at Indian Fort Mountain, kayaking across Owsley Fork Reservoir to grab paddle caches, walking or and bicycling the trails in our recently designated Trail Town, hiding from muggles as you enjoy shopping and visiting our local eateries, plus viewing our large manufacturing industries as you grab those hidden treasures throughout our town. Berea has it all!

Bring your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors and introduce them to a sport we all have grown to love - GEOCACHING! What better way to celebrate Leap Day 2016 than in beautiful Berea, KY with individuals who are as passionate about this activity as we are!
