I would like to make this an annual event, join us for the inaugural hike up the Dublin trail. Anyone that still needs that August event cache, this could be your last chance to get it. I would encourage everyone to meet up at the Dublin trailhead at 9:00am, although you can still log the cache at the summit(see hint) PLEASE NOTE: Dogs are NOT ALLOWED on the Mountain :(
PLEASE NOTE: Coords listed WILL NOT get you in the parking lot, I wanted the icon to show up on the map so I moved it some, actual parking lot coords are: N 42° 53.143 W 072° 07.517...I have been wanting to hike up Mount Monadnock for the caches up there for awhile now...I have never hiked the Dublin trail and figured that would be a good way to go. Anyone that still needs that August event cache, or anyone that wants to join us can meet us at the trailhead at 9:00am...I would also encourage everyone to try and bring a muggle friend along to introduce them to geocaching...There is a Dublin trail multi-cache we can get as well as a whole bunch of caches at the summit along with a couple Earthcaches...I am hoping for a good turnout so everyone can have someone to hike with at their own pace, this trail is one of the easiest ways to the summit...Distance from parking lot to summit: About 2.25 miles (3.58 km). Elevation Gain: 1680 feet (510 meters) Ascending time: About two hours. Descending time: About one hour. PLEASE check the weather AHEAD of time and bring appropriate attire. Also bring plenty of water and snacks for energy and hydration. I hope to see you all there, thank you.
