Located South of Melbeta, Nebraska in the Buffalo Creek Wildlife area. Uneven prairie terrain and prairie hazards (cactus, sandy or rocky ground, yucca, tall grass and the occasional snake). Take water in warmer weather.
Standard 50 cal green ammo can well hidden in this beautiful wildlife management area in the Wildcat hills of the Panhandle of Nebraska. this is our 9th Cache and sort of qualifys as another Oregon Trail Cache - (the trail was about 5 - 8 miles north of here).
Take the paved road (Wright's Gap road-I think) south out of Melbeta and keep following it towards the hills to the South. Just before the pavement ends and past the brick rook's neighbor (trust me) you will find the parking area. From there you will have a roller coaster walk to the cache site.
This is somewhat of a themed cache (hence the name) to honor the american farmer. There are a number of farm items here as well as other goodies. Please trade farm items for other farm items. Trade for like value. Please re-hide the cache well to preserve it for others.
