This is in a new park in Leander. It is right by Bagdad Elementary School.
This is a new park, that is still undergoing some construction. Currently, there are fixed rest room facilities, numerous picnic tables with grills, and a playscape for the kiddos. I show this cache to be 0.26 miles (as the crow flies) from the start of the paved trailhead. You will have to leave the paved trail by the playscape. When this cache was placed, you have the option of traversing the as yet filled lake. I don't know how long you will be able to to this, as it makes the hike significantly shorter. This cache will probably underwater or close to it when the lake gets filled. Be careful if you opt to go across the mud, especially if it's rained recently.
