This event will take place on Friday, May 8th at 7:00p.m. at C.C.'s
family restaurant in Glendive, Montana. If you are interested in
ordering food and eating before the meeting please be there by
6:30. Cachers meet in the side room located to the far right when
you enter C.C.'s main door.
This meeting will cover the last details for the the coin
event.
The coins are done and look awesome. However, per the chambers
request, no coins will be passed out until the day of the event. In
all fairness, part of the coin challenge is that you must find one
of the earth caches placed in Makoshika. Teewinot will be creating
those pages shortly and once they are available everyone can find
them prior to the event, but the coins will still not be passed out
until the event. Questions about this please feel free to contact
Teewinot.
Hope to see new faces at the meeting, bring the kids (except the
screaming ones =) just kidding) and lets talk caching.
Update 4/18: Both Earthcaches have been approved and are ready
to be found. Remember it is a stipulation for all cachers to find
at least one of the earthcaches, so get out there and find
them!
update 4/29: I think it is key that we get some information put
together to post on the Chamber website. After our meeting, we need
to have like an official rule page like the one I made last year.
Then we can send this link out on the caching forums and the paper
article as well.
