Millvue Peak
This is a great hike with
incredible scenery. It's got a bit of everything: easy trails, steep trails and a little
rock scrambling. The view from the summit is one of the best I've
encountered.
You can start from either
Millcreek Canyon or Lamb's Canyon, but be sure to check Millcreek conditions, as
the road above the Winter Gate is closed to all access for reconstruction (as of
2025). Dogs are NOT allowed in Lamb's Canyon.
Please exercise caution, particularly in the summit area which has some steep dropoffs (keep
dogs leashed!).
The summit elevation is just
under 9,000 feet.
