This cache is a 4 leg multi-cache. At the first three points, you will find an Altoids can with instructions to the next point. The last point is the cache! This cache is on a U.S. held airbase. You may have to go through a military checkpoint. (If you are an Iraqi National, please feel free to e-mail me or find me at JAG, and I will assist you in finding this cache. Iraqis need an escort and a badge to avoid trouble.) Think safety at all times!
Troopers of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment, who have earned the right, wear Stetsons and Spurs with their uniform. This is a tradition that has lasted generations. These soldiers are currently in Iraq, earning the right to proudly wear the Stetson and Spurs!
Wagonburner, of New York has supplied all the great stuff in the cache and the container in support of our troopers. The cache is loaded with good stuff. Remember to bring good stuff to trade. There may also be Travel Bugs in the cache. If you are new to Geocaching and are not familiar with the Travel Bug, please take some time to look at the web site and learn more about the Travel Bugs.
Like all Iraqi caches, the intent is to keep caching alive during our deployment. Once the Regiment comes home (the sooner, the better), this cache will be tranferred to another deployed geocacher, or archived as a symbol of our success in Iraq.
Don’t hesitate to come see me. I work with JAG, 3d ACR.
Stay safe. Enjoy!
