FFR - Forgotten Forest Road
Fourth in a series of caches located in the Chequamegon National Forest. These caches will be located along forest roads that are still accessible by foot, but are no longer kept clear for driving. Many are long overgrown and are no longer recognizable as roadways.
You are looking for a 30cal ammo box
Expect a nearly 2 mile walk round trip over varying terrain. This may be wide enough to drive, however, there are many downed trees and large rocks. A high clearance vehicle is a minimum.
Also take care in the late fall, especially during the deer seasons, as this is a well hunted area. Be sure to bring blaze orange if you attempt it during that time.
