Geocache Description:

Level terrain - easy hike of about 2.6 miles RT following marked trail.

This cache is located in the Nature Conservancy at the Disney Wilderness Preserve about 12 miles south of Kissimmee near the Poinciana community. The park is open seven (7) days a week, from 9:00 - 5:00 and there is a $3.00 per person admittance fee ($2 if ages 6-17 or a TNC member) and has a nice little shop in the main building complex where there are maps and Conservation related items for sale. This is a wonderful wilderness area with two hiking trails - one long and one short. The cache is in a rather large rubbermaid type box that has been painted camo and placed in a location, just off the marked trail - should be relatively easy to spot once you're on the coordinates. The cache has a variety of treasures and trinkets and a couple of "Zen" signature items I hope you will enjoy. There is a log book and a camera - please note the pic# in the log book and we will try to post the pics at a later date. While placing the cache - we saw quail, hawks (saw one eating a mouse at the cache location!), woodpeckers, many varieties of butterflies and birds, dragonflies, and a very diverse plant community. I think you will enjoy this cache for the locale and the contents as well - Happy Geocaching.
