There's more to Wimbledon than just tennis.
The Wimbledon Wander is a series of 12 caches that takes you around some other sights in the area. The circuit starts near Wimbledon station, so leave your car at home and enjoy the walk. The whole loop is about 5 miles in length and will take you 3-4 hours to complete. The first 10 caches contain a clue to the location of the bonus cache. Good luck!
The All England Croquet Club was started in 1868 in Nursery Road. In 1875 the new game of Lawn Tennis was added to the club and in 1877 it was renamed the All England Croquet and Lawn Tennis Club (now known as the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club - AELTC). In 1922, the AELTC moved to its current site in Church Road, when it realised that the tournament was rapidly outgrowing Nursery Road. The site is now used as a playing field by Wimbledon High School. Wander down to the end of the road for a closer look.
