Geocache Description:

Kealia and sept1c tank will be in the Seattle area and both are free on Tuesday, April 13 so we have an excuse for some caching that shows off some of the unique aspects of NW caching.

We will start off with Jester's Drive-by Caching (GCC48F). Since I have not done this one, I have no idea of the time involved so I allowed 30 minutes.Next up is Amazing Arboretum (GC3E6B). Total walking one to two miles and I allowed an hour. The next stop would be Rock Creek (GCCACF). This is about a half mile with a possible extension. I allowed 45 minutes. This one will involve quite a bit of of over and under downed trees so I allowed extra time. Some may want to go cross country to Danville Trails (GCE538). Drivers will meet the cross country trekkers at the parking listed for Danville Trails.Since this will take us to about lunch time, I have allowed some time for that at Landsburg Park. During lunch we can locate the cache in the park (GCGB9X).Following lunch we can start on Road Apples (GCCA5D) and Cedar River Picnic (GC3508). These will involve roughly five miles and I allowed three hours for the three caches and lunch. After that stop with three caches we will move back to the Danville Trails parking area to take on Crater Peak (GCE544) and Loopy Ridge (GCH8R4). The distance could be as short as a mile, but will probably be more like two miles. I allowed 90 minutes.Next stop will be Post Roundup (GC84E1) and/or Twin Peaks #1 (GC3CD1).I felt a need to include a Red Robin for dinner just to keep with the tradition. There is one at Southcenter. After dinner we will do Post Roundup (GC84E1) before moving on to Nighttime Isn't Just For Sleeping (GCHKBB), which is Jester's new night cache. The 4 of 5 Troll Cache (GC8A96) is near the start of the last cache.Be sure to bring lunch, water, and a good pair of shoes. Road Apples especially requires good footwear. It can get wet on the final 75 feet or so.The coordinates are for a Park and Ride lot in Renton. We will meet there to get organized and go from there. At this point the starting time is set for 8:30AM, but is subject to change. I have a S&T file set up and will email it to anyone who needs it. People who have received the file report problems opening it with MapPoint. If that is the case I have a Word file with selected times.
