Everyone, kids included, brings a cache trinket to use as a gift
trading item. Just a small object that you have gotten out of or
for a cache. We will put them all in the middle and draw a # to see
who goes first. Then each person will pick an item from the middle
or take something from someone else, yadda, yadda, you know the
rest.
PLEASE BRING YOUR ITEM WRAPPED. I will have gift paper on hand
for the forgetful ones.
We have about 2 acres, so there is lots of off street parking
and we will try to have it well marked. We also have a building we
can use as a party barn, bring your own chairs if you have them, it
will help a lot. Be ready to meet new people and put caching names
with friendly faces! Newbies encouraged to attend. This is a great
first event. This event is a POTLUCK mixer at my house in Oak Hill
(SW Austin). Any cachers who happen to journey into Austin this
SUNDAY are invited. Families and significant others are welcome,
too!!!
Please post a note stating the number of people attending with
you and the type of dish you plan to bring to share! (ie: meat dish
or something to grill, main course, side dish, dessert, drinks,
chips/dips, salad, fruit, relish tray, etc.) Please be somewhat
specific to ensure variety. I already have plates, cups,
silverware, napkins, so no need to bring those for this event.
