Kaikoen is a mark in the Komoro castle. After Hidehisa Sengoku had
come to Komoro in 1590, the Komoro castle constructed the town in
present Komoro.
Large amount of "Kaikoen" hangs in "San no Mon(Third Gate)" that is
the front gate.
It seemed to have seen it from the town in the castle in old times
because the altitude of the Komoro castle was lower than that of
the bourg.
It is made by using the valley and the hill made of the volcanic
ash of Mt. Asama, and water is not used, and the cliff that
collapses easily is strong fortifications.
Surroundings include the zoo, the amusement park, and the museum,
etc. now.
Moreover, Komoro is a place where the great writer at the Meiji
era and Tohson Shimazaki lived for seven years.
Cache was set up in the woods near the parking lot.
The position of cache is free though Kaikoen is charged.
However, the parking lot is charged.
Cache is a square can.
Please take care because it is a deep valley near cache.

As the owner, it is a demand.
I must not search here at night. A deep valley that is a feature
here is not seen when it is dark. I am not warrantable the result
of the cache search at night at all.

懐古園は小諸城の跡です。小諸城は、仙石秀久が1590年に小諸に来てから、現在の小諸の町を構築しました。
正門である「三の門」には、「懐古園」の大額が掛かっています。
小諸城は、城下町より標高が低いため、昔は町から城内が見えたそうです。
浅間山の火山灰で出来ている谷と丘を利用して造られ、水を用いず、崩れやすい断崖が堅固な要塞となっています。
現在は、動物園、遊園地、博物館などが周囲にあります。
また、小諸は明治の文豪、島崎藤村が７年間住んでいた場所でもあります。
駐車場の近くの林の中にキャッシュを設置しました。
懐古園は有料ですが、キャッシュの位置は無料です。
ただし、駐車場は有料です。
キャッシュは、四角い缶です。
キャッシュの近くは深い谷ですので、気をつけて下さい。

暗い中では、ここの特徴になっている深い谷が見えません。
私も夜のcache捜索の結果は一切保証できません。
