Geocache Description:

30 July 2005. Top of Utah Jeep Adventure! 8:00am.

We will plan on meeting at 8:00am at first dam. This should allow plenty of parking and a huge area to mingle before and after the trek. More details to follow as the date gets closer. We will plan on taking our Jeep and going up Providence canyon. And our fellow cachers the Kaycees will take the other route up through Cowley canyon. There is plenty of caching along the way. At the top we can make return plans depending on how long it takes for the return trip and everyones desire to see some more of the country. The options are many.

This cache was placed by a member of UTAG.
Note; 11 July 2005. There are ATV rentals available at Outdoor Specialists(435-563-1500). The cost is $65 for a 2-wheel drive and $75 for a 4-wheel drive. They have some available for the 30th. If you need to make arrangements to have it hauled up the canyon let us know. Also I don't think anyone would want to take a full sized vehicle up Providence(but that is up to the owner of the rig) however the alternate route would be okay and you would still get to go on probably half or better of the trail, just not the really rocky steep part. Either route is pretty fun and very scenic.
Note as of 19 July 2005. The caches along the Prov canyon are GCPMIN, GCJYM3, GCJK0K, GCJRW2, GCPM24, GCPM29, GC1178, GCKH19, GC1C46, GCPFE2. Some more that are possible depending on return route and time GCK0N0, GCP83Z, GCP84N, GCP83W, GCKGJH, GCP83N, GCC126, GCM75Q, GCK41D, and GCK6ZP. There are many more around here. These are probably the least amount of hiking.
