Geocache Description:

A walk along the North Downs with great views over Kent.

There is space for a couple of cars in the roadside by Thurnham Castle. The route is fairly level (if you go the right way!) but there is currently a patch of ploughed earth to negotiate. The tree cover is causing some GPSr reception difficulties so we would recommend looking at, and possibly printing out, the spoiler picture.

Thurnham Castle is a medieval ruin which was, until recently, covered by thick vegetation. The site was cleared as part of Kent County Council's White Horse Wood Millennium Project. See here for more information.

The suggested car parking is also a short walk from a trigpoint (details here) and another great view.
