TOMTEC: The cache container and reflector trail have been removed. I'm amazed at how many reflectors have disappeared over the years. This cache survived for much longer than originally intended. I'm glad everyone enjoyed their visit!

Geocache Description:

NIGHT CACHE WARNING!
This cache is designed to be completed at night and requires a flashlight and/or BFL to follow the path.

Parking is available at the posted coordinates. Park your vehicle in the lot, or along the shoulder of the road if the gate is locked. Stand in the centre of the parking lot and follow my instructions below to locate the cache!

Expect a round trip NIGHT HIKE of less than 4km

Take a look around (with your flashlight), you should see the Cyclops watching you from the East! You must follow him to find the cache, but be careful; he will try and confuse you! Once you've followed 46 of them, stop and take a bearing of 243° true North and follow it 31 Meters. Here you will find an Orange Firetack.

The cache is a camouflage painted ammo can hidden within 3 meters of this point.


NOTES:
  1. Night raid friendly... (Actually, it's kind of REQUIRED!)
  2. Winter friendly, though it will be under some snow.
  3. Family friendly.
  4. Bicycles allowed
