Geocache Description:

An easy drive up at an interesting location.

This walking beam oil well was originally located on a hillside south of the junction Highways 198 and 33. It was moved to this location to preserve the history of the early days of oil in Coalinga. It doesn't get many visitors, although it does get a lot of traffic nearby.

As an old Trekkie I couldn't resist the name.

The container will hold some small items. This is my second cache, come out and visit them all.
