sun-moon-starz: Alright, I'm tired of the complaints about this one, too much whining and biatching.[xx(] Also, WAAS-Up has requested that I retire this one so that a web-cam cache can be placed - so watch for it coming soon! [^]

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

After all of this time, there’s still no virtual at this, one of the most famous buildings in Texas! Well, we’ve fixed that! When visiting the Alamo, there are some things that you may not notice. No need to rush through this one, enjoy the area and don’t get intimidated, it is easier than it looks. This is not a drive up; you’ll have to find some parking downtown, and do a little walking. There are garages nearby, the RiverCenter Mall being the easiest to find.

To notify me that you have found this cache, please e-mail me directly at: sun-moon-starz@satx.rr.com

It seems that there is a problem with any mail routed through geocaching's IP address is being blocked by Roadrunner, so I won't get the e-mail unless you e-mail me directly from your server.

Go to the first set of coordinates. Who is the sculptor that created this work?

Take that persons name and multiply the number of letters in the first name to the number of letters in the last name. Subtract 4 from your answer and put your final answer in both sections of the 2nd waypoint:

N 29° 25.5__ / W 098° 29.2__

E-mail me the answer to this question to claim this cache: What is the first name that appears on the plaque at the second waypoint?

Incorrect or partial answers are NOT correct and will be deleted, sorry to those who need to go back and find the correct answer. I KNOW it is difficult to get good readings in this urban area, and I also know that there are many plaques. Geocaching is a challenge, and I personally have had the experience of not finding a virtual because I did not collect the right info at the cache site. If there is any doubt about your final answer, use hint #2.
