The cache is a small screw top container(4 inches by 4 inches) with log book, pencil and a few small swaps.
During the build up to the Normandy landings in 1944 the US Navy use to anchor off Annalong and fire at targets in the Annalong valley, it is still possible to see some of the craters just past Annalong wood, you can still come across the occasional shell fragment in the area, the cache is hidden at one of the craters, this is mountain environment so please ensure you are well equipped and prepared for any change in weather condtions, carry food and drink and have a map and compass.
