This is a remembrance cache and is all about the happy memories man's best friends leave behind when they depart. We recently lost ours, and I wanted to share his happy place as a remider that every moment we spend with loved ones should be cherished, as you never know when thier time, or yours, will come.
Hamlet, you loved this little knoll and wooded drainage draw. You just couldn't resist running around here in your little hamlet, chasing whatever was lurking in the leaves. I know this was your favorite place to be, even though you weren't even supposed to be loose in this park. But then you never listened anyway, literally dragging me up the hill to chase them critters. When I placed the cache all the chipmunks scurrying about reminded me why you loved being here and I loved being here with you.
You will be immensely and intensely missed by all those who you touched in your brief time here with us. Thanks for all of the very special memories. Good luck chasing all those Chippers and Squirrels with your new wings...
