Geocache Description:

Thanks to everyone who made our Second Annual Richmond Rally a great event!
The weather on June 11th was hot but beautiful. Seems like everyone had a great time!
According to the sign-in sheet, we had at least 153 people in attendance.

Dorey Park is the largest county park in Henrico County, with over 400 acres. There are 4 miles of single track trails for mountain biking, 5 miles of horseback riding trails, a five-acre pond with largemouth bass, bluegill, sunfish, and catfish, a professional Disc Golf Course, a Recreation Center, 7 picnic shelters, a children's play area, 4 soccer fields, 4 lighted baseball fields, and plenty of hiking trails.

The event will consist of lunch and a few short talks on geocaching topics, such as accessory software and how to paint camouflage. After the event, attendees are welcome to stay and search for any of the new caches that are planned for the park. There are currently only 2 caches in the park, but new caches will soon be placed by the Insane Dog Posse, TeamBlackZ, deepseadivers, imhisclay, og_the_caveman, jollyrogerx1, Team Robrad, RVA-Scooter_Girl, and Walden Pond. The new cache coordinates will be available on June 11th at the event.

Dorey Park is located at 7200 Dorey Park Drive in Richmond, off of Darbytown Road. We will be in Shelter #3, which is in the woods between the pond and the tennis courts. Keep checking this page for more information...
