Coastside Trail Cache Traditional Cache
Krypton: As there's been no response to my previous note, I assume that the cache is not going to be repaired or replaced, so I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it

A few yards off a paved multi-use trail.
The Coastside trail, which runs roughly from Half Moon Bay to El Granada, is a treasure of the San Mateo Coast. Dogs, bikes, strollers, rollerblades and feet are all welcome. It's beautiful in all seasons and offers a host of wildlife. Fabulous wooden bridges, too! It's a long-time favorite place of ours, so we decided to place a cache here.
There are lots of potential parking spots. We prefer the end of Mirada Road, in Miramar. If you park there, the cache is a little less than a mile down the trail to the South. Although there are other closer parking spots, you may have to pay a fee . . . and you miss a beautiful walk. The cache is an ammo box with typical enfuego treasure (bookmarks, bouncy balls, giants memorabilia, jewelery, etc.). It's well-hidden in the obvious location, to avoid detection. Please re-hide carefully.
When approaching the cache, please tread lightly. If you make your final approach from the south, there's pretty good trail access.
