wimseyguy: Despite the fact that the host was behind a 'tree protection zone' fence during the construction, it's now been removed as the entire new parking lot has been re-landscaped.
I don't think the new plantings can support a hide properly so I'm archiving this one after a nice 12 year run.

Geocache Description:

Nashville, TN has become a Mecca of sorts for serious cachers. There are over 600 caches hidden within 20 miles of city center. The Music City Audition series of caches is designed to help worthy pilgrims prepare for their trip. As with all urban caches, take care to not give away its location to muggles.

Well I doubt Lou Reed ever recorded in Music City; he's more of a New York sound. But as I was driving around looking for the next site to continue the MC series his hit Sweet Jane/Heroin began playing on the radio. Its opening lines are "standin' on a corner...". So there you are; go stand on a corner to find this one.
