[JLX.36] Casa contadina Traditional Geocache

Sciarborasca, chiamata anticamente "Ciarborasca", è una frazione del comune di Cogoleto in provincia di Genova, da cui dista circa 4 km, ed è situata ad un'altitudine di 213 s.l.m. Situata ai piedi del massiccio del Monte Beigua è un rinomato punto di partenza per le escursioni lungo l'Alta Via dei Monti Liguri (AVML). La strada romana che percorreva le alture di Cogoleto, passava per Lerca e per Sciarborasca. La località in passato è stato un luogo di transito per il trasporto del legname proveniente dall'Alta Valle del torrente Orba diretto ai cantieri navali siti in riviera.

CASA CONTADINA
Il Comune di Cogoleto ha voluto valorizzare un'importante iniziativa che ha visto protagonisti le insegnanti e gli alunni della Scuola Elementare di Sciarborasca. Questa iniziativa ha consentito, nel tempo, di raccogliere innumerevoli strumenti della cultura contadina e di recuperare importanti informazioni circa il loro utilizzo.

L'amministrazione Comunale ha pertanto individuato, in un antico edificio rurale di proprietà del Comune stesso, la sede ideale per un museo al fine di esporre gli innumerevoli oggetti ed attrezzi che mettono in risalto varie attività legate al mondo contadino.

Le Case Contadine venivano principalmente costruite in pietra, legno e calce e non avevano una forma ben precisa in quanto le pietre non sono tutte uguali; in alcuni casi erano costruite anche con i mattoni.

I contadini che vivevano in queste case non avevano una vita molto semplice, ogni giorno dovevano coltivare i campi e dare da mangiare al bestiame ed infine c’erano le mucche da mungere. Le case dei contadini sono costruzioni semplici ed accoglienti, solitamente costituite da due piani.

Si faceva in modo di costruire la casa esposta al sole, al riparo dal vento e che fosse possibile raccogliere l'acqua li vicino. Per costruire si usava quello che c'era, pietre e legno soprattutto si doveva terminare in fretta. Si perché bisognava accudire il bestiame, portare il latte, innaffiare...

La stanza con il focolare era il punto di incontro: qui ci si ritrovava per la cena, momento di intimità da condividere con tutti. La casa doveva essere molto grande perché le famiglie erano numerose. Il bagno era completamente all’esterno, mentre la stalla si trovava al piano inferiore della casa. Qui venivano allevate solo mucche.

IL MUSEO

L'edificio che ospita il museo era davvero una casa contadina, la più antica di Sciarborasca: al piano terra si trovano la cucina e la sala, di sopra le camere da letto e nel sottotetto il fienile, raggiungibile con una scala esterna.

Costruito con il contributo di fondazioni private, è oggi definitivamente chiuso e gli interni, purtroppo, non sono più visitabili.

AVVERTENZE E RACCOMANDAZIONI
1) RICOLLOCAZIONE DEL CACHE
Il cache è oggetto di frequente manutenzione. E' facile, tuttavia, incorrere in perdite o esposizioni eccessive ai geomuggles. Si prega pertanto, di riporre il cache esattamente come indicato nelle foto spoiler.

2) REGISTRAZIONE
La veridicità dei ritrovamenti è fondamentale per garantire una manutenzione programmata ed efficiente. Al termine di ogni sessione di manutenzione verrà pubblicata foto del registro delle firme. Verranno eliminati tutti i ritrovamenti che non trovino riscontro.

Sciarborasca, anciently called "Ciarborasca" is part of the municipality of Cogoleto, in the province of Genoa, which is about 4 km far. It is situated at an altitude of 213 meters above sea level. Located at the foot of Mont Beigua is a popular starting point for excursions along the High Street of the Ligurian Mountains (AVML). The Roman road that ran through the hills of Cogoleto passed through Lerca and Sciarborasca. The town was once a place of transit for the transportation of wood from the High Valley of the torrent sites Orba directed to the shipyards on the Riviera.

COUNTRY HOUSE
The City of Cogoleto wanted to highlight an important initiative whose protagonists were teachers and pupils of the Elementary School. This initiative has make possible over time to collect many tools belonging to the rural culture and retrieve important information about their use.

The Town Council has therefore identified in an old farm building, owned by the municipality itself, the ideal location for a museum to expose the many objects and tools that highlight various activities related to the farming world.

The Peasant houses were mostly built of stone, wood and lime, and did not have a definite form as the stones are not all equal; in some cases they were built with bricks.

The farmers living in these houses did not have a very simple life: every day had to cultivate the fields and feed livestock, and then there were cows to be milked. The peasants' houses are cozy and simple construction, usually consisting of two floors.

They made sure to build the house exposed to the sun, sheltered from the wind and so that it was possible to collect the water nearby. They used to build what was above all stones and wood moreover had to be finished quickly. That because they had to look after the cattle, bring the milk, sprinkle ...

The room with the fireplace was the meeting point: here they found again for dinner, intimate moment to share with everyone. The house had to be very large because the families were numerous. The bathroom was completely outside, while the stable was on the lower floor of the house. Here were reared only cows.

THE MUSEUM

The building that houses the museum was really a farmhouse, the oldest in town: at the ground floor there are the kitchen and the dining room, upstairs bedrooms and the barn loft, reached by a staircase.

Built with the support of private foundations, is now permanently closed and the interior, unfortunately, are no longer visited.

WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
1) REPOSITIONING THE CACHE
The cache is subject to frequent maintenance, however, it is easy to incur losses or excessive exposure to geomuggles. So please put exactly where indicated in the spoilers.

2) LOGS
The truth of the founds is very important for a scheduled and efficient maintenance. At the end of every maintenance session a logbook photo will be published. Every found which does not match the logbook will be deleted.
