There are lots of pricker bushes and some heavy brush. Some of the terrain is rough.
This land was donated to the City of Battle Creek for recreational/future park use. There is intent to link the property to the linear park system and make it available for park use. The Parks and Recreation Department are developing plans for this area.
This is an old farm that has been dormant for many years. There has been some trash dumping on the property, so this is a good "Cache In/Trash out" opportunity.
There are no great views to see.
There are no interesting landmarks to find.
There is some wildlife, lots of deer. If you go in during hunting season, wear orange!
There are a couple of rough paths, but you have to find them, they are not marked. Most of this is bushwacking.
This is not wheelchair friendly. Wear thick clothing or the prickers will get you.
