Roadside/trailhead parking is available off Veneitian RD at a two car clearing that is used by a homeowner also but is TWP land. Nice short walk to gz. Varried terrain depending upon lake level.
The biggest obstical in abtaining this creative style cache in one of lake Hopatcongs back water chanels is the short water crossing needed to get you to this small unnamed island. Max distance is about 18 feet and down to 8 feet depending upon water leval in the lake by exposing large stepping stones. If the lake water level is low due to drought or seasonal lowering its a dry walk over. Normal or high water depth could be 18 inches or to about your knees that you need to deal with. Bottom is gravel at the shortest crossing point no mud to sink into. Cache should be revealed with a little bit of exploration. Please take the time to replace the decon properly as area does see muggles from time to time. TQ..Ah com on, It's such a short distance , just a hop.......
